What is RentZentro?
RentZentro is rent collection and property management software for independent landlords and small property teams. It combines online rent collection, expense and profit tracking by property, rental listings and applications, tenant management, maintenance requests, documents and e-signatures in one dashboard.
Which countries does RentZentro support?
Rent collection is publicly available in the United States and Canada. US rent is collected in US dollars by bank debit (ACH); Canadian rent is collected in Canadian dollars by pre-authorized debit (PAD/ACSS).
In how many languages is RentZentro available?
RentZentro is available in 51 languages, and human-written messages and maintenance requests are translated live so landlords, teammates, tenants and contractors can each write and read in their own language.
Where does the rent money go?
Rent settles into the landlord's own connected payout account through . RentZentro never holds landlord rent in its own balance and does not create payouts on the landlord's behalf.
How much does RentZentro cost?
There are 3 doors free, forever. A door is a rented space: an address with no tenant counts as one door, and each active tenancy counts as a door. Paid landlord plans are flat monthly prices, not per door: Starter $19 per month for up to 10 doors, Core $34 per month for up to 30 doors, Growth $69 per month for up to 100 doors, and Portfolio $139 per month for unlimited doors.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes. Billed once per year, Starter is $192, Core is $348, Growth is $696 and Portfolio is $1,380 — about 15 percent less than twelve monthly payments, which works out to $16, $29, $58 and $115 per month.
What does RentZentro charge on rent payments?
A 0.5 percent service fee applies to each rent payment collected through the platform, with a $0.99 minimum and a $15.00 maximum per payment. The landlord still receives the full contractual rent.
Does RentZentro charge late fees automatically?
Yes, for US leases. RentZentro assesses late rent fees automatically from the lease terms once the grace period has passed, posts them to the tenant's balance and the landlord's books, and notifies the tenant. Late fees are separate from rent and are never treated as rent.
How does RentZentro keep late fees legal in all 50 states?
Every US state and the District of Columbia is covered by a built-in late-fee rulebook. Where a statute sets a cap or a mandatory grace period, RentZentro enforces the stricter of the statute, the lease and its own platform limits, applies a minimum five-day grace period everywhere, and never charges more than the unpaid rent. There is no compounding, no fee on a fee, no interest, no daily escalation and no retroactive charging, and late fees are suppressed while a timely payment is still processing.
How long does a rent payment take to settle?
Bank debits are asynchronous. US ACH payments typically settle in one to four business days, and Canadian pre-authorized debits in up to five business days. Rent is only marked paid once the payment processor confirms settlement, and late fees are suppressed while a timely payment is still processing.
Can tenants set up automatic rent payments?
Yes. Tenants can authorize their bank account once and turn on autopay against the lease-derived rent schedule, and they can cancel that authorization at any time.
Does RentZentro handle maintenance and contractors?
Yes. Tenants submit maintenance requests with photos and access notes, landlords track status and comments, and contractors can open a job through a secure link without creating an account.
Does RentZentro support rental listings and applications?
Yes. Landlords publish listings with optional address masking, receive online rental applications, send screening invitations and handle adverse-action notices.
Can teammates or property managers get access?
Yes. Landlords can invite teammates who get access scoped to that landlord's properties, tenants and payments.
